Easter!!

This Easter was great! Last year Maddox was only a little over two months old, so we couldn't really do much. This year, though, was another story. The Friday before Easter we dyed Easter eggs for the first time as a family. It was tons of fun. I boiled 11 eggs, which was too many because it took forever to dye them. Maddox kept trying to eat the eggs and break them and Paul was trying to make the weirdest looking eggs. It was quite funny.Towards the end Maddox got a hold of the cup holding the purple dye and spilt it all over the table. Thank goodness I had a whole roll of paper towels next to me. I meant to take a picture of the finished product, but forgot and ended up peeling them all for Easter breakfast. Oh well.
On Easter Sunday Paul and Maddox woke up to Easter baskets full of candy and other things. One of the things Maddox received in his basket was a bubble gun. Paul had to work it for him, but Maddox loved chasing and popping the bubbles. Later in the evening we took Maddox out to the back yard for an egg hunt. He loved it and did very well finding the eggs and putting them in his basket. A lot of the time he would open the eggs and try to stuff all the jelly beans in his mouth. It was so much fun and I am excited for all the years to come.

Update

With being pregnant I have no desire to do anything, so that is why it has taken me forever to post something... So here is an update.
The last weekend in February Paul , my dad, and I went to San Diego for a business trip. It was lots of fun and the weather was so nice. We wish that we would of just been able to stay longer. The time share that we stayed in was super nice! We wanted so badly to go to the zoo, but were only able to visit the beach. The beach was great, but definitely smelled like the ocean(fishy). I don't know if I like that part of it, but what did I really expect. Hopefully next time we can see all the sights.

The next weekend we made our way to Boise for one of Paul's racquetball tournaments. He was ranked first in the state in singles and doubles!! He has been doing so well this year! It was lots of fun to watch him and visit with the family. Thank goodness for grandparents, who helped out a ton by watching Maddox while I watched Paul play. That weekend my dad also changed Maddox's diaper, which has never been done. My dad does not change diapers. When my siblings and I were children he also did not change our diapers. So of course we had to get a picture!!
The weekend after that my parents came down for my dad to attend his annual Military Ball. Maddox went crazy when he saw my dad in his uniform. He just thought it was so cool. My dad liked the attention and he looked great.
Later in March Jess, Lyndsay, and Jaxx came down to visit and get some things taken care of. It was a nice visit and we all, including Rachael went to dinner at Ruby Tuesdays. After that we went back to our place so that Jess could get his long board out of our garage. Once he went around the parking lot once, Maddox and Jaxx began chasing him trying to get the board. They kept climbing all over it so we sat them on it and pushed them around. After that we couldn't get them off of it. It was so cute!
The last pictures in the slide show I had to include. It was the first time that I let Maddox feed himself. He loved it and made a huge mess. I thought they were so cute and just had to include them!!
